I've now watched The Help for the first time...
My initial response is to ask, "How could something like this possibly happen?" Obviously if I'd been around In that era I'd have acted differently.
I'd like to think that..... But, how could I be sure? I wasn't alive in that time period but I am alive now. What can I be doing in this day and age to ensure that I'm not promoting a culture of racism. What steps should I be taking to ensure right and proper and respectful treatment of all of God's children?
How about the rest of you? Is there anything you do to ensure your actions, thoughts, and motives always reflect the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control of the Lord?
Prayer: Lord, please help me to always seek you first in all that I do! May I live for you and seek your kingdom, glory, and honor alone. May I be humble before you and always place the needs of others before myself
